The clinical medicine direction of the center integrates the advantageous clinical resources of Wuhan University People's Hospital, Central South Hospital, and Stomatological Hospital, closely combines multiple disciplines such as basic medicine, life sciences, and pharmacy, explores the etiology and pathogenesis of major diseases, studies early diagnostic methods, and develops new treatment strategies. The fundamental task is to solve the clinical diagnosis and treatment difficulties of major diseases. Research directions include: neurological and psychiatric disorders, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic diseases, urinary system diseases, oral diseases, and tumors.
